He is not capable because it can't be reasonably explained.

Interesting you should say that since an overwhelming majority of Americans seem to understand it fully.

He has ceded control of american foreign policy to special interests of a certain persuasion.

Could you be more specific? A little evidence would be nice.

Al,

He is not capable because it can't be reasonably explained.

Hmm... this sentence makes no sense. If it can't be explained that the capability is irrelevant. But semantics aside, the concept of pre-emptive war is hard to explain to foreigners (but relatively simple to explain in the US).

Overseas, especially in Europe, they care about the dance of diplomacy and protocol, even the bloodiest wars in the history of mankind were started without violating the protocol of diplomacy.

In the US, we are not burdened as much with protocol, we care more about is doing good and caring about interests and safety of our country, and in fact about the interests and safety of the rest of the world.

These 2 points of view need to be reconciled / explained.

He has ceded control of american foreign policy to special interests of a certain persuasion.

What are you talking about.

Let's not forget that this is a man that two short years ago could not spell "foreign policy".

I hope you appreciate how quickly he learned.

Joe
