France chose to scuttle the US you say and the US chose to scuttle the UN I say. I think both are true. I have no illusions that intentionally undermined the UN. The speech on September 12 was very clear. You won't remember but it was that speech that won me over. I was neutral on Bush until then. That speech demonstrated to me that he was going to deal with the real problems in the world. I am starting to believe that this is true with North Korea right now. The 'kissy face' will happen after the Israel/Palestine 'surprise' peace treaty. The world is focused on US / Europe while the real action right now is US / Arab relations which are getting stronger everyday. Paul
