Re:<<P.S.: I am not anti-American. Disagreeing with the current US administration does not make one anti-American, just like disagreeing with Sharon's politics would not make one anti-Semite. >>

That is your opinion but the evidence on this thread doesn't support it... You bozos have pretty much concluded that our government has contrived reasons to preemptively attack the poor and defenseless sovereign country of Iraq. That based on your exhaustive evidence the President of the US has demonstrated no moral cause or justification to conduct this war. That our military is prosecuting a heinous crime against the country of Iraq.....and that when it is over, if we don't find what we are looking for we will have it "manufactured"... etc. Did I miss anything?

In time of war many would certainly consider that to be anti-American and borderline treason. We handed our President and Congress the responsibility to make the decisions and take steps to secure our country from external aggression. He didn't ask for 9-11. He did use the extensive resources available to him to ascertain where the threats were and has taken steps to eliminate them.

He tried to use the existing infrastructure and sixteen previous resolutions to get Iraq's attention. If you want to be mad at somebody why not begin with the French(your neighbors and kindred spirits). If they and the Russians hadn't been in bed with Saddam, perhaps Saddam wouldn't have played this game of "russian" roulette in the first place. Perhaps the UN inspectors wouldn't have had to leave 5 years ago due to non support in the prosecution of their duties.

I'm not looking for your acknowledgment that your attitude is anti-American. I know it is. You may hide it behind a cloak of pacifism. You may disguise it with some misgiven moral self righteous platitudes, but you don't fool many.

In a democracy you are allowed to dissent. There is also a time to get in line with the country. Your intelligence sources may just be a little less authentic than those of the President.

Get it?
