I thought you were the big trade deficit / acct deficit hawk ?? Now you're saying how great it is. hmmmm ..

That massive trade deficit we have doesn't help us much.

the cultural elites in america may benefit from rampant free trade. you know, politicians, bankers, wall st, multinational corporations, etc. but many workers do not benefit from unfettered free trade.
