Do you know the definition of "treason"? Should not use it lightly. "Betrayal of one's country by waging war against it and purposely acting to aid the enemy" is the Websters definition. No one but Taliban Johnny has done anything like that. Certainly no one in the democratic party, nor even the Greens.

Going to Baghdad and calling for a slowdown or stop to war is not treason. In fact, if this war somehow turns out to be a great mistake, it's anything but. There is merely a difference of opinion about the wisdom of war. I happen to be in the middle and you probably think I'm a traitor too just for questioning Bush's motives and lack of real diplomacy.

Now that the fighting has started though I'm 100% behind a quick end to it, without losing any American lives, or very few. That's all patriotism is, backing the troops once the fighting's begun. Patriotism otherwise just means doing what you can to make your country a better place, and there we have many opinions.

Glad to hear you believe in the great American concepts of free speech and free expression. Wishing a Congressmen to be shot and arrested for exercising his rights as an American to speak his mind. And conservatives wonder why liberals call them facists, with talk like that?
