Like I've said, victory in Iraq will not solve our problems. We'll still have exactly the same problems we had before, only a bit worse. However, the oil companies will greatly benefit, there could be less of a threat from the Middle East (maybe, or maybe not) and we will have demonstrated to any North Korea what we can do. Problem is, North Korea may be crazy enough to see this as a provocation. Hard to say.

Also, to give credit where it's due, this POSSIBLY might stop some future terrorist attack. Or it could create more. No way of telling yet.
