I think they just want to break up OPEC. I don't think there is any evidence that the US really wants to sieze the oilfields is there?

I must admit, that the OPEC cartel has done insurmountable damage to the world economy and I for one wont miss it in passing. But Bush had no business going about this, if that was really his aim.
