Canuck and Valutrader, Gold miners performance I reduced miner positions slightly, today....probably a good sign that we'll rally, but they and the metal just don't seem to have it here....yes, to fight another day, from a better level....down in the 112-15 area on the HUI if it gathers up enough steam to get that far.....Most items had lighter than average volume on today's decline. The juniors and explorers I own had miniscule volume... At this point we haven't had enough good news from the front to wash the miners and metal completely out...and the bad news hasn't started yet...All trend and momentum indicators I follow are still negative.....200 day ema still in control over the HUI. DMI has repulsed, RSI has turned back down and the Full STOS have failed at the 50 line....Gallemore's trend and momentum indicators for GOLD and SILVER will have continued their slide down the scale....Did notice that the CRB futures went out at a sizable discount to cash.....Maybe we're close.....
