in 1941, when Germans attacked Russia, the 1st city that has fallen was Brest. A group of russian soldiers were surrounded in a small fort with only light weapons. They have held German troops in the area until the very last defender fainted due to starvation. After marching through france germans just could not believe that Russians were not surrendering....... The seige lasted for months and that was just the beginning I know the history of france and I also know how many died under Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk or in Normandy. French just surrendered<eom>
