Was God helping the poor innocent people of Iraq living under the dictator Hussein? Canadians are so naive, they think that other countries operate with the freedoms that we have here. They have no clue that criticising the leader or other government ministers will lead you to a torture chamber and death, perhaps from a plastic recycling machine.

Looks like you forgot to read this part:

We will of course pray for the innocent people of Iraq and hope that they may have a better future than the one they have had under this tyrannical regime and we will wish that they may have a future where they have the democratic freedoms that we enjoy, that every man and every woman, especially at this time in the Islamic world, is entitled to in every part of this earth.
