Traitor Tom shouldn't just retire next year, he should move to France. I understand they LIKE midgets who whine and wet their pants all the time...

I don't understand why you would think that was bad news for Daschle.

Daschle voted FOR the Bush war resolution. Let me remind you. And he was under great pressure NOT to. He also never said you cannot fight terrorism and invade Iraq at the same time. I've never heard anyone say that. Just that alienating allies who we need in the war on terror is risky. And it IS risky.

This whole war has been risky. Even now it still is. But looks good so far. Nothing with taking a risk, so long as it's the smartest one you can arrange. This war could have been a little smarter, but now it doesn't matter. I guess it's smart enough to beat Saddam and that's what counts right now. Let's hope we get through without oil-fields blow, bio-chems used etc. Will save a lot of dough, lives and pollution.
