this time it diverges from earlier events as outlined by your doted lines:
1. price is moving above its m/a
Just change the m/a value to 55 et voila' no everybody is under the m/a. OK, I know I am being flippant, but I only give passing meaning to m/a's and especially on a weekly chart.

2. stochastic is at around 50 (instead of peaking at, near or above its 80 level)
Same thing happened last March on the NDX

3. ADX: dragging all the way to 10.... meaning prevailing trend (down) is getting weaker.
I disagree with your interpretation of the ADX. With the DI+ and DI- flirting with each other with the ADX at low levels, it is indicating that we have not been in a trend . As was the case for a several months in the summer of 2000 and from Dec01 to March02. (approximately)

4. +DMI just crossed -DMI (announcing a rend change ?) now we need a upturn of ADX to confirm and if it rises... strengthening...
Until the ADX flips and the DI- and DI+ stop kissing each other, I don't connsider that a trend change.

All that seems bullish... so what about the earlier negatives... all of a sudden gone ? no, then does this mean a nasty and mean bear market rally in the making ?

now you tell me i am WRONG....
