I did not delve into military logistics and political depth but I believe Kurdistan will be the BIG BIG MESS they were not gassed by Saddam in the 1990's they were gassed by Iran Iraq uses mustard gas on battlefield Iran uses cyanide gas the dead Kurds were killed by cyanide Americans (in their infinite shallowness) never investigated they accept blindly the thin self-serving reports Saddam is a bad man, but he didnt gas anyone in battle Kurdistan contains oil-rich Kirkuk region Turkey does not want the Kurds to hold this city or own this oil there are at least three shades of Kurds Turkey has complicated the war, raising the risks to extreme this Kirkuk oil could finance a Kurdish independence movement against both Iraq and Turkey is America ready to intervene and mediate this dispute? I BELIEVE OUR UNWILLINGNESS TO SUPPRESS THE KURDS IS THE PRIMARY REASON WHY TURKEY DID NOT COOPERATE WITH US I believe in time we will back the Kurds, not know which flavor of Kurds are in control, and work toward a confrontation with Turkey again, our cultural ignorance will work against us, making the situation more dangerous the first several days will go easily, with many surrenders, many cheering crowds from Basra but few Americans realize that Basra has been tortured by Saddam USForces suffered 100,000 cases of Gulf War Syndrome, with mysterious maladies Basra region residents suffered 10x the maladies, and cases of course, primarily Shi'ite Basrans will cheer US Forces the Iraqi BombMaker (turned friend) informs us of the magnitude of health problems and physical deformities plaguing the Basrans the military logistic trouble comes with taking Baghdad by force from a single direction, SOUTH the city is bigger and more sprawling than Metro Boston then comes the Kurdish oil region, and Turkey the mess comes in several weeks enjoy the stock rally while you can I believe oil prices will shoot right back up before long Kuwait City has been hit by a couple SCUD missiles and more might hit soon but as our forces march north 350 miles to Baghdad, the missile locations will be taken over lastly, Saddam has lit up several oil field rigs and operations he has lit primarily Gas-Oil-Separation-Plants for those who dont know shit about oil, Arab oil comes in particularly toxic form their oil is full of hydrogen sulfide, very poisonous it is called "sour gas" oil workers must use gasmasks in order not to die the burning of the GOSP plants raises both the health risk and environmental risks let loose the dogs of war, Mr Idiot Prince you were pre-empted, but proceeded now you are in no position to conduct this war to a fully successful end / jim
