Fair enough...perhaps I read more into the "implied" part for that particular line since the tone for the other conservatives was negative....As far as I know Bush Sr. never played up his role in WWII for political gain.... It is a shame the one that followed him knew nothing of that kind of class.

Bush Sr. got nailed by anti aircraft and stayed with his plane longer than was allowed so his, he didn't know it, dead crew could bail. He got picked up by a sub trailing the fleet.

He was shot down and picked up, a miracle, by an American submarine. What are you smoking oner there in liberal lala land? Tell whomever is supplying all your crap to straighten up and get at least one thoing right before President Bush is re-elected. PS I am a conservative Republican and a veteran 4 yrs in B29's.
