I understand that. You must understand that certain recognitions reflect the consensus of many peoples and cultures.

The Nobel Prize is not about who benefits America....but who benefits the world. We could argue about this but it would mean nothing. It generally takes a pretty decent human being to get world approval. Pete Rose is a decent person...and he is having the hardest time getting the approval of ONE person--LOL!!

Rather than spending thirty-one trillion hours trying to assess the COMMITTEE...why don't we dredge up some salient facts? I know Carter has done a great deal as an Ex-President, AND as a decent human being. I WATCHED him participate in the procedure of building homes for the needy. He could have been ANYWHERE ELSE!

I have no problem discussing how Carter is remembered in the Presidency..but there is really no need to slur the humanity of such a good man.
