Yup. We are simply putting our hands firmly around the Iraqis' necks and telling them to give up or die. It is really quite a merciful way to wage war. I'm impressed by it.

Yes, you are right, President Bush and General Franks recognized that and kept thing more under control..that is good news...it may change...but for now, it shows the world that America is out to liberate Iraq not destroy it.

Dear Ish: Yes, from a moral standpoint of course you are ABSOLUTELY correct, but still, I cant help wondering just what the SHOCK AND AWE would have been like. Hopefully though we may avoid the seige of Bagdad, I understand there is a question as to who is in charge in Iraq right now. jdn
