Outflows cont. at U.S. stock funds

Funds investing primarily in U.S. stocks had outflows of $500 million during the week ending Mar. 19, estimates Carl Wittnebert, director of research at Trim Tabs, while international equity funds took in $1.4 billion in new money. The week before, U.S. funds had outflows of $2.3 billion and international had outflows of $600 million, Wittnebert said. Bond funds had inflows of $1.7 billion in the latest week, adding to inflows of $2.3 billion the prior week, the mutual fund tracker said.
