Dear DMA: For some insane reason French Canadians seem to always be against someone. This time its USA, I can remember a time not so long ago when it was against CANADA. (gg). However, if you visit Quebec, the indivuals will treat you well. I was once engaged to a French Candian Girl and went up there twice a month. Was always treated well, although when you get out of Montreal its ASTONISHING how many speak no English at all. jdn

I would like to believe Canadians are still ok but then I read crap like this - course this is frog canada: This is not Canada. Anywhere else is great. Montreal is unhappy because they no longer have a hockey team. As a border resident(Mchigan) I go to Canada often(Ontario) and find the residents unfailingly courteous and friendly to we Americans. They are not from a different planet(except Montreal). Went there once..never again. Typical french arrogance to all even their own. They must certainly hate themselves. No class. Ken
