I'm not going to spend all day in feckless trading of news articles. My point was that Carter was and is a decent human being who has integrity. He would be the last person to insist that you agree with him. But decent people ought to respect one another even when they disagree.

Carter wasn't awarded the "Peace" prize as much as he was used to award Bush the "Anti-Peace" Prize. Any American with an ounce of integrity would have thrown it back in their smug, morally superior faces

Certain circles in the world used Carter for anti-American purposes. The Nobel Prize Committee was playing an unworthy game for political reasons.
