Impressive footage on TV last night, all channels. I think it was a good decision to let reporters go with the troops.

It at least gives the media the sensation of "realtime" reporting, even though it is restricted. In the first Gulf War, there were chronic complaints by the media even though they were briefed extensively and given unprecedented access.

This time, I think the reporters actually feel they're part of it because they're being given the information but required not to report it.

So far it looks pretty good.

Looks like Turkey may be a problem according to the talking bimbos on TV this morning. Daschle defending the acts of sedition was predictable.
