The combination of only US planes can go in to bomb Iraqi defenses while Turkey's ground forces move in from the north amounts to that, imo.

The talk today is that Turkey is trying to prevent return of Kurds into Iraq who may then migrate to Kirkook and Mousel (sp?). There was reportedly over 100,000 Kurds who moved into Turky during the first Gulf war and now they want to go back.
