I agree. The Turks are offering next to nothing. We could call their bluff, and just fly over their territory, and what would the Turks do? Shoot at our airplanes?

If they aren't allowing use of airfields, refueling, then they aren't offering anything we can't just do without their permission. And if we let their army occupy the Kurdish autonomous areas, without even any U.S. forces to "balance" Turkish influence, then it's not worth it. We should just walk away from that deal, and start treating Turkey like we are treating Iran and Syria.
