-- CNN Ordered Out of Iraq - Iraqi Govt. Source --

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Cable News Network (CNN), the U.S.
television news channel, was ordered to leave Iraq on Friday,
an Iraqi information ministry official told Reuters.

"CNN has been ordered out of Iraq...because they have
become a propaganda tool to spread lies and rumors," said the
official, who declined to be identified.

CNN, on air, said it was "sad to learn" that its
correspondents were being expelled from the capital by the
Iraqi government.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based CNN said its team of journalists
in Baghdad would probably have to travel overland to Jordan.
