Shack, I was just thinking that same thing. If this 1000 point move is wave 1... well... heck, man, I never shoulda sold Freepmom out of any of her S+P fund, let alone sold some of her GE.

I will say that if the war in Iraq continues apace, with minimal casualties, a quick resolution, and minimal infrastructure damage in Iraq, well... it is bullish. Oil will fall, costs will be less, world opinion will modify, and it will be possible to ignore other FA issues for awhile as we all sigh in relief. And heck, a rising market even helps companies like GE and GM and their pension issues <g>

Fascinating indeed, and a tip o' the hat to AA once more.
