No can do without a "liquidation" phase. We haven't had it -- all I see is confidence -- not FUD -- everyone is confident, after umpteen rate cuts have produced continuous declines in real business activity, that recovery is just a WAR away. Easy money can't produce profits and the consumer is bloated beyond belief. Where's the demand coming from for all this new stuff ... to rebuild Iraq??
