Glad to see that the old economy is getting a shot in the arm. Oil rules -- but of course the war is not about oil in any way shape or form -- ya, right.

anyone who has DISH network, you guys should tune to the Al-Jazeera channel (a middle-eastern CNN).

They have reporters and cameras from inside Baghdad, Basra, etc... Unlike the night-vision pictures from miles away that you see on american news channels, this gives you a true picture of the destruction going on, both at night and in the cold light of day. There is no censoring either, they are showing people (soldiers and civilians) with their brains blown out and all the blood and guts and gore, the view from inside buildings that have been bombed. From the viewpoint of CNN, it looks like a fireworks show. You have no comprehension of what war is really like until you see it from the side that's losing.

I've watched a ton of CNN/Fox/MSNBC this week, cheering the war from the comfort of my living room, but i had *NO IDEA* how horribly awful things were until i tuned into Al-Jazeera.

The entire middle-east watches Al-Jazerra, and the coverage they're providing will only fuel anti-americanism. And let me be clear, this is not because it is biased coverage, it is because, unlike CNN, you get the view from the side that is getting bombed.
