What? American leftwingers are presented uncomfortable facts regarding the true nature of their government and they simply try to deny reality, deny the facts. Not! I wish I was a starry-eyed naive rightwinger. Life would be really good if I acutally thought the U.S. government was a moral force for good in the world. But, I know it's not. I can't deny reality. The U.S. is the 10,000 pound economic gorilla in the world and sometimes 10,000 pound gorillas step on some smaller creatures (countries) while making their way through the world.
