well, you can brand us what ever you want but, unlike france, we are not going to risk millions of lives just to preserve image

The funny thing about all of this is that France has actually dared oppose the US and it can't be forgiven, so you and others here are dredging up all of this stuff.

I am against this war, but I am even more against the French. I agree with Andy Rooney who had a 60 minutes piece on this a few weeks ago. The french stance has done nothing but damage the anti-war position here in the US. The fact is, the french let other nations do their dirty work and then sit back and complain about the outcome with pompous righteousness. If you think the french position in WWII is somehow obsolete "drudging up all this stuff" you are sadly mistaken, WWII is still with us here, it is still in movies, the media (private ryan etc) - I'm sure the french would LIKE to forget it given their abhorent behavior during the period but it is not to be.

Again I am anti-war and anti Bush at this point (unless they find WMDs in Iraq and put them on display for all to see, at which point I may change my position.)
