no i do not. the problem is you abdicate the right to claim osama is evil for making and acting on those statements. the best you can offer up is he didn't have a big enough stick with which to back up his words.

nor do i believe america is anywhere near as bad as iraq. my concern is that character flows from the head: when our leadership acts towards others no better than their leadership acts towards others we should at least raise a few voices of caution because we are then on the path towards our leaders treating us they way they treated their own.

it is no coincidence that the external lies of vietnam were reflected in the domestic lies of the white house.

in the end, as always, history will decide whether or not this was the right thing to do.
