War during the raging depression we're in

is simply madness. We're heading for a series of

currency devaluations as bankrupt western economies

try to save their manufacturing base.

It's all running on credit. Leveraged to the proverbial

hilt. In 2001 and 2002 cumulatively the supposed US

"economic growth" amounted to around 500 billion dollars.

During the same period households and businesses added debt

of six times that or three trillion dollars. And it

continues this year. It simply takes several dollars to eke

out a single buck of growth. And of course 3 million jobs

have been lost.

Debt mountains, huge pension holes, tanked stock market,

mind boggling fiscal and current account deficits. As

before the dollar is toast.
