china, russia, france and germany all know they are hosed. US control of iraqi oil, whether direct or indirect, poses a major threat to the balance of economic power. US control of iraqi oil, whether direct or indirect, can stop this US economic death spiral dead in its tracks. all china, russia, france and germany can do is vehemently reprise the war, and pray that something goes wrong. as i have been saying, anyone who thinks that the US won't completely rout iraq is not thinking clearly. that is why the market is going up, and that is why it will keep going up.
