Turks going into Northern Iraq against US wishes... this is where things get interesting.... Iraq never had any hope of defending the north and the south of the country and are not really trying. After all there has been a Kurdish state in the North for several years. The question is whether they try to defend Baghdad.

It is impossible to rely on the US military for any news as much of the info in Gulf War II was false,designed to demoralize enemy soldiers... so not really much to go on at this point...

What does seem interesting is that it seems infrastructure is not being targeted unlike Gulf War II or in Serbia. At least the lights are still on in the pictures. Main target seems to be the leadership followed by just occupying assets intact. At least with limited information that's what it seems like.
