Yes, it is very important that the world see that war is not fun and games...it is not going to a pissant protest and vomiting, it is horrible, and Saddam is an evil human being for letting it happen. AND the communist led unamerican protesters are sheep being led by the nose and they have caused a disruptive influence around not only our country but the world. If one policeman or one soldier is killed because of their actions then I say it is war crimes times for the whole unemployed nasty assed bunch of PQs.

Watching the massive bombing all afternoon made me like I was in the Roman Coliseum during its heyday.....

You have the roles all screwed up.

Those poor Iraqis are the slaves, Saddam and his henchmen are the Romans, and that small brown pile the lion just left is you.

Those good-hearted kids with the American flags on their uniforms are the good guys, in case you didn't notice. They weren't there at the Coliseum to save the slaves.

I hope that you realize that while the bombing LOOKED HORRENDOUS in actuality from a Civilian point of view it was far LESS horrendous then say the original Gulf War. Reason being nearly ALL the weapons used were Precision weapons that pretty much hit their EXACT target rather then the blanket bombing that was necessary before. The USA has broadcast and distributed leaflets for weeks now telling Iraquis to stay in their homes, stay away from Government congregations of troops etc and they would be safe. those that listen, will be safe, those that dont well what can we do? OUR troops safety has GOT to come first. jdn
