The public has been entertained with Bush's Shock and Awe Show. When the war is over, when the US occupies Iraq and when Americans learn how this war will hurt burn holes in their pockets, they may come to their senses. Let's hope the American public learns soon how Bush and his buddies will make out like bandits in the reconstruction of Iraq. PS: The war is depressing. I try to avoid thinking about the details. Who would have thought that the United States would have launched a pre-emptive attack on another country. I understand why Senator Byrd weeps for the United States. What we have done is terrible! I am ashamed.
