Iraqi regime will be just re-branded. That's all. It will be just swappoing one bunch not your friend to a friendlier bunch.

Problem is: many countries in the region will develop an arms race. It won't be more peaceful, but much less peaceful I would say.

The whole Patriot missle intercepts was way overblown in the first Gulf War in 1991. The U.S. made claims like 41 out of 42 missles were intercepted by the Patriots. They had to backtrack on those claims bigtime. The first causualty in war in the truth. Much propaganda on both sides.
