You obviously dont know jack about John Kerry. If you did you'd at least respect him. We all admire our war heros now, but John was is much hotter situations. He didn't have the air support. He was on a jungle river with enemy shooting at him from both banks. Before John took control, our gunboats would retreat from enemy fire. John was the one who stood up to the brass and said "we're not running away anymore". From then on whenever they were fired on they charged right at the banks, beached the boats and went into the jungle after the enemy. Offense succeeded. Kerry wesd the leader. He took three bulletds and is lucky to have survived. Yet you have the hypocritical disrespect to attack this Silver Star winner. McCain is best friend is the only other Silver Star winner on the Hill. Silver Stars are very rare. The Navy Cross was John's too but he walked away from it when he rrealized Vietnam was a costly mistake which was killing his friends. But you fear him and therefore try not to learn anything except whatever lame dishonest attacks the RNC can put out there. Spare us please with the Kennedy BS. Kennedy is a very differnt character, and not presidential material. But John is. in fact he might be one of thge great presidents of American history. He is that ready. To unite not divide. It's all the RNC has but it wont sell. And it may backfire because if that's the only argument Bushies have, they have no real argument. Meanwhile, Kerry supporters can go on for hours debating Bush's weak points, in great detail. Bush may be winning a war now so he will be very popular for a month or two, but take away the war and what does he have to run on? Nothing.
