Gore said he would hire him as SS too.

And Adolf Hitler would do just the same, albeit the color.
According to Himler, the race for the Nazis was not everything. They were accepting exeptions. The main requirement there was for a man he had to be a fascist.

AS,
re:moderates

Politicans like Kerry who claim to be moderates, will say anything to anyone to get elected.

Either vote for a left wing or a right wing candidate.

A moderate isn't work the hot air he expels.

By posting in this thread, you are indeed asking for it.

Your off your head (or ass) statistic is all wrong; as it is more like 90% blacks and 70% woman who voted for Gore. Go to www.gop.com for the right stats for 2002.

While I agree that most actors have not finished college, I do not think they are all idiots. Some that have, like Jodie Foster (Yale) are extremely intelligent to keep her political views private. Loud mouths like Oprah, the Baldwins, Streisand, just cannot stop to enjoy their God blessed good fortunes. Pretending that they can understand how the country works, these self annointed celeb-politicians have helped organized demonstrations, but have offered very very few contructive ideas to solve any of the ills they complain about.

Also, Colin Powell is not a Republican. He works for Bush but he's never told anyone what his party is

Care to correct this inaccurate statement?

Links below list and link to speeches Powell gave to his "fellow Republicans" at Republican National Conventions. The first one is a speech in which Powell addresses at great length why he is a Republican. Given that you follow politics so closely, I am mystified as to how you could have missed this. Virtually everyone with a passing interest in politics over the years was aware that there was much speculation over which party Powell would indicate he was a member of, which the 1996 speech answered quite eloquently.
