Once the WOMD are found, and the people of Iraq recover from the disease of Saddam, Chirac is going to look like the fool he is. France's bid for the world stage will go down as one of the great blunders of history.

Bush has bumbled the pre-war diplomacy, but Chirac has rescued his bacon by taking bumbling to a whole new level. I guess it is true that the French worship Jerry Lewis, because Chirac is doing a pretty good imitation.

<<Chirac Threatens to Veto U.N. Resolution "to legitimize the military intervention" and "give the belligerents the powers to administer Iraq.">>

That's fine. Chirac's announced veto of the resolution to go to war didn't keep us from doing it. Now they will be excluded from participating in the restructuring of Iraq. Why should the French have any say in what happens in post war Iraq? Oppose us all you want, we will do the right thing anyway. Not that the French could possibly bring anything of value to the war or the coalition to rebuild.

Frog bastards.
