They have the edge because the Bush administration has set them up with the best "seats". The guy moving north with a column of the 3rd Infantry is in a career-making once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and isn't wasting a minute of it.

Hi JDN: From what I understand from more conservatives, they're beef with the other news agencies wasn't that they lied as much as that they felt the news was 'slanted'. I believe that they try to tell both sides, thus allowing some unpopular views to gain air. FOX decided to instead simply cater to a need, which is news that is unabashedly conservative. This does not bother me; I think some of their actual news coverage is good (especially when a major news event is happening). But, can't they stop lying about being 'fair and balanced'? They SPECIFICALLY decided NOT to be, to fill that niche, so let's stop that little chirade.
