was that the effort where they played that "White Snake" album outside the palace 24/7 to get him to come out and capture him? There was something comical about that, no blood was shed so it was different than this.

Iraq is not the US's neighbor, they are in a region the entire world cares about... Noriega was a US problem only.

we did not see opposition to our action in Panama, but if we had announced the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive war and then gone into Panama, and if Cheney had done the initial "diplomacy", it is entirely possible and I think it likely that we would have seen protests all over the world.
