If the world REALLY wants to reign in the US military monster -- it could be done fairly easily with no loss of life.

The hi tech US military -- like the US high tech industries in general -- depends heavily on advanced components manufacured in foreign counties -- especially in Asia. If these counties refused to allow their companies to sell this stuff to the US -- the vaunted US military machine would suffer a crippling blow.

SEOUL: As US and British troops assaulted Iraq, North Korea said Friday that the situation on the Korean Peninsula was deteriorating to the "brink of a nuclear war" because of US-South Korean war games.

North Korea has often condemned military exercises in the South as preparations for war, but this year's drills come amid heightened tensions over North Korea’s suspected efforts to develop nuclear weapons.

South Korean Defense Minister Cho Young-kil said North Korea was conducting air raid drills across the country to heighten vigilance.
