Thanks for posting that article. It gets to the liberal case for war in a big way (and the underlying problem with civility in our national debates).

I agree. Completely. I disagree with Ignatieff's conclusion here but the clarity with which he makes his points makes conversation possible. I found the same to be true of Pollack despite the claims one often found that Pollack was "true." We need to foster this kind of debate. Not only here but with our friends and neighbors.
