John, although it is certainly nice to hold these academic debates among ourselves in the context of a free society, I believe it may be worthwhile to recall the reality of the "level of virulence" in the Hussein regime. Just for a moment, imagine how we might feel if these were our wives, our daughters, or our mothers. I personally doubt we would be quite so forgiving of Hussein or be condemning current US policy.
