orkrious...yup, I echo that sentiment. A longer war gives the market a chance to fly past Dow 10,000.

For every bombing, markets will fly higher. The more days there are of bombing, the longer it gives market a reason to rally.

The more casualties we suffer, they'll take the markets even higher.

U.S. and Japan have already declared they will support market in times of crisis.

So, lots of Americans killed = 200-300 Dow point rise daily

I dare say if the U.S. really wanted to, they should prolong the battle to 1 year (we all know we're going to win)...that way, in 1 year, Dow should be at all time high, and Nasdaq approaching 5000.
