true, it is a dilema. However Shack, allan and others are bullish, whille Zeev and most, though not long are looking to short the top, or are flat. Meanwhille my dad, some people I talked to this weekend, most of whom I consider "Dumb Money" all believe this rally is doomed. So I will respectfully disagree with you on the contrarian nature here. I think this rally has a way togo. I am flat in either case, but if I had a gun to my head id be buying calls. There are few anamolies in this rally that didnt occur in last headfakes 1)Bonds have sold hard, as has gold 2)Credit spreads never widened out 3)COT have covered much more then last two rallies 4)No IPO's, dilution etc 5)No endless bottom calling. JMHO

You don't have to be bearish to buy puts or sell calls?
I agree cramer is out of control, what's new? I agree some stocks like ebay room expe and a few others with more debt than revenues are very overpriced. I'm sorry I didn't take the easy money on gold and oil puts. I'm positive these stocks are full of hot air. Other stocks with tons of cash, revenues and market share I'm real bullish on....just pissed about options manipulation. Tight inventories can spur a rapid upswing in all economic measures with the slightest bit of increased consumption. Big profits lie ahead of large companies with market share that have been cost cutting the last few years. Yes, a few powerful ingredients for nice 2004 bull market exist for an excellent year provided the federal reserve doesn't raise interest rates too fast.
Yes, the weekend tv stock analysts are all way too bullish here...on technical move I think...short term. But, they flip sentiment faster than some si gurus. A 38% retrace is likely to begin IMO.
