KT, this Ray Dalio of Bridgewater Associates said "Another plus for equities is that under funded pension plans in the U.S. are going to have to make pension contributions. They will end up purchasing stocks"
What I see makes me think the opposite:
(i) Some big companies (IBM, GM) contribute stocks not cash to their pension funds.
(ii) Many pension funds have lowered pension-plan assumptions. With lower assumption they don't need to chase performance and buy stocks.
