"antiwar advocates who really have a political agenda"

EVERYBODY has a political agenda. It is called "personal point of view" which we all believe to be correct and which we generally promote.

Hawks, doves, politicians, saints--ALL THE SAME in this respect.

Namaste!

Jim

<< I don't hold Antiwar people in contempt. >>

I do. Saddam's atrocities against his people, and the threat to America from his weapons programs, is well known. The anti-liberation group's disregard for others, and their disregard for the safety of America, is contemptible. How do you find it otherwise?

<< While I think their view may be a little naive I believe their core intentions are good. >>

I couldn't disagree with you more. If they were kids that didn't understand the potential harm they are doing, it would be different. But, if they had their way, America would be in much more danger than it is, and the Iraqi people would continue to suffer great hardships and torture under Saddam's brutal regime. How does that translate to "good intentions"?

<< The people I hold in contempt are the people who cloak themselves as antiwar advocates who really have a political agenda. >>

Well...... that fits most antiwar, anti-liberators. Don't be fooled by their slick talk. They can't be that stupid, to not know what is going on.
