Actually, I have tried to point out to as many people as I can that effective protests are better if they are quiet and nonviolent. More progress was made by Martin Luther King in 2 years than 40 years of black militancy.

I was not happy to see the disruption of traffic at the start of the war and would have voiced my opinions to the misguided persons disrupting the traffic.

Any your point is what? That half of the people in America haven't read the Constitution of the United States and don't have a fuzzy clue about the rights of Americans to assemble? Perhaps those folks would be more happy in a Communist country where citizen's rights to assemble and redress grievances to the government are not tolerated. Personally, I'd rather not see The United States of America turned into such a place.
