T, Actually, I think war is often necessary. I don't think it is noble and life-enhancing. I actually supported the elected Bush's Desert Storm and wishy-washied about the selected Bush's move into Afghanistan, though I'm still worried about that last one. In 1991 Iraq had invaded Kuwait and had to be pushed out. In 2002, The Taliban was supporting and harboring Al-Qaida, who had attacked the USA. I just haven't seen what caused the deaths going on over there today. Though I have my own ideas on the subject and have posted them here. None of the reasons seem to justify hundreds or thousands of deaths at great cost.

Shoot, Congress declaring a war would be a bigger upset than Vassar taking out Duke in the NCAA finals. The Men's finals, I should say. <g> It is amazing how hypocritical we can be. The Japanese were the lowest forms of pond scum for attacking us without a declaration of war. Since then, we've fought 20 wars of various sizes without one declaration of war.

Oh, well, it isn't war I hate. It's the bull market. <VBG>
