<< ... then the only places Americans might want to travel to is Britain, Australia, and Spain... >>

Good idea.

<< ...it seems that just about everyplace else is against this war. >>

Supposedly there are 45 countries supporting us. But, if we are doing the right thing, then it doesn't matter how many countries support us.

<< Saddam is a cockroach on the map of the world but a sledgehammer is the wrong tool to get rid of him. >>

What is the right tool? Saddam and his brutal regime MUST go. How do we get the many members of Saddam's sadistic team, to leave and let the Iraqi people become free from torture and tyranny?

<< This war will, in the final analysis, have more downside for America than upside. >>

That remains to be seen. I agree that bringing democracy to Iraq is going to be very difficult. The Sunni's and the Shiites are bitter enemies. Iran and Syria are going to do everything that they can do to screw us up. Turkey hates the Kurds, and have a large number of Kurds in Turkey.

It's a difficult problem. If we are successful, it will be a miracle.

I will travel wherever I want. Even the countries that are pro-Iraq war have populations where the majority of people have been against Bush. I'm not going to let Bush's unpopularity affect my travel plans.

We need to start healing these rifts not make them worse with silly boycotts. They could easily just boycott us back costing thousands of American jobs. We all need each other economically and in other ways as well.
